Easter in Germany
Easter is an important holiday in Germany, combining Christian traditions with familiar spring customs. Colored eggs, Easter decorations, chocolate and the Easter bunny are all closely associated with the season.
German Easter Traditions
For many families, Easter is a time to decorate the home, color eggs and give children chocolate Easter treats. Children may also search for hidden eggs and sweets, often placed in small Easter nests or baskets.
Spring decorations are another familiar part of the season. Easter eggs, flowers, Easter bunnies and other seasonal decorations can be found in homes, gardens and shops throughout Germany.
German Easter Treats
Chocolate eggs, pralines, Easter bunnies and other sweets are popular during the Easter season. German Easter traditions also include a wide range of regional and family customs, so celebrations can look quite different from one household to another.
At GermanBuy, we are happy to offer German Easter specialties and seasonal treats shipped from Germany.
Thank you for trusting and choosing GermanBuy.net. We wish you a wonderful Easter!
