Aurora 6-Grain Bread Baking Mix complete with yeast and sourdough
The whole taste of the grain – that’s pure enjoyment! Thanks to its six valuable types of grain, the AURORA 6-grain bread has a strong taste. Also ideal for the bread maker.
German bread recipe:
For this 500g / 17.6 oz baking mix and 320ml / 10.8 fl oz water (lukewarm approx. 35-40 °C / 95-104 °F)
1. Place the cake mix and water in a bowl. Knead with a hand mixer (dough hook) at the highest level for about 3 minutes to form a homogeneous, soft dough. Cover the dough with a towel and let it rest in a warm place for about 30 minutes until the volume has increased significantly.
2. Then knead the dough briefly, place in a greased loaf tin (approx. 25 cm / 9.8 inch) and smooth the surface. Cover again and leave to rest in a warm place for about 40 minutes.
3. Brush the surface of the dough with water, cut lengthways and place on the middle shelf of the preheated oven. After baking, let the bread cool on a grid or wooden board.
Baking time (in the preheated oven): Top and bottom heat: approx. 50 minutes at 215 °C / 419 °F Convection: approx. 50 minutes at 200 °C / 392 °F
