The artificial tooth enamel smooths the surface of the tooth enamel, so that it is very difficult for bacteria to find a hold. In addition, the Bioniq®Repair-Toothpaste Plus contains lactoferrin and hyaluronic acid, two active ingredients that are known for their protective function against bacteria: Lactoferrin is a natural antimicrobial agent that is also contained in saliva. It is biologically active in that it removes the vital iron (Latin: ferrum) from the bacterial plaque. Hyaluron is a well-known and proven biologically active ingredient. It supports the healthy moisture of the oral cavity. From a medical point of view, this moisture is very important because human saliva forms an important barrier against bacteria. Protection for tooth enamel and gums! The artificial tooth enamel in the BioniqRepair products has a similar structure and composition to the basic building blocks of natural tooth enamel.
