Description
Reiter Delikatess Sülzen-Pulver
For 3/4 liters (750 ml / 25.3 fl oz) of water. No cooking – quick and easy to prepare.
Stir 25 grams (one pack) of the powder into 750 ml of hot water and season with 2 to 3 tablespoons of good wine vinegar. Not cook! As soon as the liquid has almost cooled down, first pour over the prepared inserts a little and then completely after a few minutes. Then refrigerate. The following taste particularly good as accompaniments: cold roast meat, sausage, fish, eggs, but also vegetables and raw vegetables. The consistency is fine for normal plate aspic. But for Sülzwurst or similar unsuitable. It’s still a bit too flimsy and not “machine cut-proof”. If you want to achieve a high cut resistance, you have to calculate and experiment with more powder. Aspic or meat jelly is a savory gelatin madeset in a mold to encase other ingredients.
